Boss BD-2 Blues Driver Modifications

Turn one of Boss's best pedals into a boutique overdrive. The BD-2 is already great out of the box; a few precision tweaks from Fromel open up the tone so your guitar's natural voice stays pure and articulate. Unlike kits that completely change the pedal, this one takes what the BD-2 already does well and makes it far better — no need to pay hundreds for a boutique overdrive.

A new clipping section adds second-order harmonics for smoother, more natural drive; the bass is increased and tightened for solid, responsive low end; and new power-supply caps let you run the pedal at up to 18V. From twangy percussive snap to warm, bluesy dirt, it's a top choice for live and studio use.

Will it fit my pedal? This kit works on through-hole BD-2s only. Boss began using surface-mount (SMD) boards on some pedals in 2017, and this kit will not fit those — check the compatibility image in the listing before ordering.
