What the kit does (full breakdown)
Goodbye metallic harshness — Fine-tunes the resonance and manual controls for smooth, fat analog flanging.
Fuller tone — Both signal-path op-amps are replaced with socketed high-quality audio op-amps, so your guitar's natural tone is preserved instead of lost in the wash.
Lower noise — All the cheap electrolytic caps are swapped for high-quality film caps for unrestricted, powerful tone.
Faster & deeper — The LFO is fine-tuned for higher maximum speed and greater maximum depth, with all the slow speeds left intact.
Know your speed — A special dual LED glows red in time with the Rate knob when bypassed, and turns blue when the effect is engaged.
Vintage flanging — Parts and instructions are included to voice the BF-2 close to the vintage MXR flanger.
Power supply upgrade — Converts the pedal from the old Boss ACA adapter to the standard PSA adapter, and lets you run at up to 18V for more headroom and clarity.
