What it fixes:

• Honky mids — alters the pre- and post-distortion EQ to clear them out.
• Thin tone — replaces the cheap electrolytic and tantalum caps with audio-grade caps so your tone is full and powerful, with your guitar's natural voice preserved.
• Shrill highs — swaps the cheap ceramic caps for corrected-value audio-grade caps for warm, full highs that aren't harsh.
• Limited EQ — corrected cap values expand the EQ's range far beyond stock.
• One-dimensional gain — MOSFET clipping transistors replace the stock diodes for alive, responsive, amp-like distortion. Want more? The instructions include an easy extra-gain mod.

Will it fit my pedal? This kit works on through-hole MT-2s only. Boss began using surface-mount (SMD) boards on some pedals in 2017, and this kit will not fit those — check the compatibility image in the listing before ordering.
